Client’s landlord did not want to install a fire alarm system, but was required to because of the local village’s code of safety. Client wanted to find a cost-effective system that was still compliant with the village’s code of safety. The client operates an auto-body shop, and one of the paint booths used by his business required a fire suppression system as well.
Solution
Forbel worked with the client and the fire department to install an addressable, wireless fire alarm system with a built-in fire suppression system that would notify both the owner and the local fire department upon any fires.
Result
Upon successful installation, the village found Forbel’s fire alarm system to be compliant with the code of safety and UL-listed. The client was able to retain his business license to continue safely operating.
