Client built a new addition to an existing building and required secure exterior doors and fat for the parking lot with access control system. In addition, the new addition required a new video surveillance system. One of the challenges to installing the video surveillance cameras was that the warehouse has a low light condition, making it difficult to capture the entire image in an even light. In addition, constant movement of forklifts created a “ghosting” effect on the camera.
For the parking lot, Forbel designed and installed an access control system with smart card readers. Inside of the warehouse, Forbel designed and installed a video surveillance system consisting of 60+ HD IP cameras.
Forbel made sure the HD IP cameras had special technology to fight low light conditions and made sure they contained dynamic range technology to allow for a better range and image in non-evenly lit places. This design also included selecting cameras that fought against the “ghosting” effect and captured a clear image.
